Simon is an experienced and passionate bike mechanic based in Maidstone, Kent, with more than 17 years working in the cycle industry. Having worked across several bike shops throughout Kent, he has built up the kind of hands-on knowledge that only comes from years of working on every type of bike imaginable.

He started out in the early 00s with a Mongoose Menace BMX, then caught the trials bug after watching legendary riders Martyn Ashton and Martin Hawes. That passion led him to compete with Essex Trials Club across the South of England – so when Simon works on your bike, he’s not just a mechanic, he’s a rider who genuinely understands what your bike means to you.

These days Simon is a keen enduro rider, putting his trials background to good use on the trails around Maidstone and Kent – though he’ll be the first to admit he hasn’t quite sorted the gap jumps yet.

As a local bike mechanic serving Maidstone and the surrounding areas of Kent, Simon is always happy to chat bikes – whether that’s recommending a service, suggesting an upgrade, or pointing you towards the best trails in the area.
